Aye, there's such similar services here also in Vancouver......kinda crummy when ya hafta pay such a hardened amount of $$$ just to recycle batteries.....which I so do not wanna throw in the trash either....hahah

Maybe I should find info on how to make it a free service like recycling....so batteries wont hafta go to the landfills and end up bringing some sort of damage to the natural world..hahah :p

(for now I keep the batteries...and avoid using new batteries, but using recharging-based types...hahah)

Here in Holland you can 'dump' used batteries for free in collectors in supermarkets to stimulate recycling you can win a trip to Spain if you put your name and adres in a bag with ten batteries or more.
